Rebecca Humphreys, LCSW, was born in LaGrande, OR and raised in nearby Cove. She received her Bachelor's Degree in psychology from Western Oregon State College and then went on to receive her Master's in social work from Portland State University. In 2011, she became licensed with the state of Oregon as a Clinical Social Worker and has been working in this field for over 25 years. She is a big fan of football and cheers the Steelers on each season.
Rebecca is excited to join the team at MCHD and enjoys serving small communities. "I love that I get to work as part of a team in a small community and that I get to help in different ways. Each day in this field is unique and we personally get to see the work and progress made every day because we work for and with our neighbors."
When asked about her philosophy in medicine, she stated, "I value meeting patients where they are at, while assisting them in coming up with strategies for healing and working through life's stress and barriers."
