Community Benefit
Morrow County Health District is deeply rooted in the communities we serve. Wherever we can be of assistance, oftentimes behind the scenes, you'll find us supporting area schools, non-profit organizations, and initiatives that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of county residents. We understand that a healthier Morrow County can't be achieved by one. It's working together that makes us all stronger.
MCHD's Community Benefit Fund is designed to improve community health, increase access to care, and address community needs. Some examples of investments that MCHD has made to serve the healthcare needs of Morrow County residents include:

- Donation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to locations across Morrow County
- Purchase and donation of 200 LifeVac (anti-choking kits) made available across Morrow County
- Participation in Sharps container exchange program at no cost to community members
- Health education classes such as CPR, First Aid and Good Babysitter classes available at no cost to community members
- Foot Care Clinics provided by Home Health and Hospice
- Donations and grants for community organizations
- Community building activities
- Support groups
- Community Health Education
- And more
