Nora McDonald, FNP-C, AGACNP

Nora McDonald, FNP-C, AGACNP, was born and raised in the Willamette Valley (Eugene) and graduated from nursing school in La Grande. Inspired by an interest in physiology, Nora began her health care career as a registered nurse, spending many years in critical care at the Mayo Clinic and emergency care as a flight nurse. She then returned to school at the University of South Alabama to complete her Master of Science in Nursing, focusing on Nurse Practitioner training in family medicine and adult-gerontological acute care.
Nora values hard work and promotes well-being through all stages of life. “I enjoy and am fulfilled by practicing medicine because in doing so, I use this skill set I have been given to serve, care, and aid others - both in times of health and challenge.”
Nora is married and has three children. She and her husband raise beef cattle and grow alfalfa hay on Rock Creek. She also enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
