Morrow County Health District is hiring for a full-time Director of Nursing Services for Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner, OR.  The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) is responsible for the overall quality of patient care, patient safety, patient and family experience, nursing practice and standards of care at Pioneer Memorial Hospital. The DNS plans and coordinates nursing services with those of the medical and administrative systems. In summary, the DNS responsible for patient care, staff management, resource management, fiscal management and nursing quality assurance audits.

Starting pay $62.68 - $72.69/ hour, DOQ.  Increase after completion of a 4-month probationary period.

Requirements:

•  Completion of a formal Registered Nursing education program with a minimum of an Associates of Applied Science degree in Nursing, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
• Two to five years of Director of Nursing Services experience in a hospital setting or demonstrated progressive supervisory experience.
• Current Oregon State RN License.
• Possess current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be versed in District safety policies and procedures and follow them at all times.
