Terri Dickens, LCSW was born in John Day, OR and raised in both Arizona and Oregon. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Oregon University, and then her Masters in social work from Walla Walla University in 1993. In 2006, she received her School Psychology Certificate from the University of Montana and her Initial Administrators License from the Lewis and Clark College. She has been practicing in the social work field for 30 years.
She is looking forward to joining our team at MCHD and enjoys "watching patients grow over time and knowing multiple generations of the same family." When it comes to her philosophy in medicine, Terri stated that she is "patient centered and focused on harm reduction."
She has studied with Bruce Perry in an online study group after he had just written a book with Oprah. "I knew him before he was cool! Actually he was always incredibly cool and I learned a lot."
