Quality Improvement Coordinator
Morrow county Health District has a full-time opening for the Quality Improvement Coordinator at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner, Oregon. Heppner is a wonderful small town that has amazing schools and friendly residents in beautiful Eastern Oregon and is great for the outdoor enthusiast.
Job Duties:
The Quality Improvement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating quality management efforts districtwide including development, implementation, education, data collection, and analysis. The QI Coordinator manages data from multiple sources to evaluate clinical performance, reveal trends, identify opportunities, and leverage health information technology to improve outcomes. This individual will work closely with department directors to: identify and implement patient safety improvements; conduct risk assessments, collect, analyze, and submit quality data; and conduct process improvements.
Starting pay $85,000 to $93,824 DOQ with an increase after completion of a 4-month probationary period.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field preferred.
- At least three years performing similar duties required.
- Experience with clinical quality measure reporting and improvement efforts required.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, and be able to manage priorities.
- Background check and drug screen required.
