Morrow County Health District is seeking a Quality and Risk Management Director to coordinate and oversee performance improvement efforts, risk management and patient safety efforts, as well as regulatory compliance. $102,772 - $116,292. The Director’s duties include being responsible for the District’s Quality Improvement (QI) Program, Quality Assurance (QA) Program, and Risk Management. Also manages and maintains databases associated with the programs, extracts data from electronic health records system and provides reporting support to department managers, physicians, and administration. Works with clinical department heads to implement patient safety processes, conducts risk assessments, submits quality data to governmental agencies, and develops department policies. After initial orientation period, position has flexibility to work remotely from a home office, and on-site. Must be onsite 2-3 days per week.
Business, Health Care or related field of study with Bachelor degree preferred. Three to five years health care experience, with one to three years of experience in Quality/Risk management preferred.
