Morrow County Health District is accepting applications for 2 full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist combined positions at Boardman Immediate Care Clinic. Starting pay rate $23.01 – $24.78 DOQ with increase after 4-month probationary period. 

Duties include greeting and positively interacting with patients in person and on the phone, schedules appointments, assists provider and performs a variety of procedures and assessment duties including vital signs, EKG and Oximetry,  Performs phlebotomy and administers injections, records and updates information in EHR, does authorizations/referrals as requested.  Also schedules patients, verifies patient information, collects co-pays and payments, files records, operates various computer software programs, other duties as per job descriptions.  Requires highly organized individual with great positive attitude and excellent customer service skills who can work independently.  Medical Assistant certification preferred, medical office experience with EHR required.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player.
