Dr. Lary Stieglitz, MD was born and raised in the midwest and has been practicing medicine for over 35 years. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in medical technology, and then earned his MD at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his residency in Flint, MI. Afterward, he became a Family Physician for the United States Air Force for 3 years at the 93rd Strategic Hospital Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA.
Over the years, he has worked in family medicine in various settings including the VA. While serving as a physician for the United States Air Force, he earned a “Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.”
When asked about his philosophy in treating his patients he stated, “to help educate and facilitate practical solutions within an ethical systemic framework, while respecting patient autonomy and real-world realities.”
Dr. Stieglitz, MD is excited to join our team at Morrow County Health District and enjoys the variety of working in a rural setting. He is looking forward to “meeting and helping new people as well as facilitating the resolution of unique problems.”
