Jennifer Barden, NP

Jennifer Barden, NP was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and has been practicing medicine for 30 years. In 1999, she completed her undergraduate at Rutgers University and then graduated from University of Northern Colorado in 2016. She began her career as an EMT in the Air Force, transitioned to an RN for 18 years, and then became an APRN Family Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in dermatology, women’s health, pediatrics, and Complimentary/Functional Medicine.
She loves to travel and has a passion for photography. She has lived all over as a traveling nurse including the Virgin Islands, Maui, New York, California, and Colorado to name a few and has visited Africa and Thailand! Although she loves to travel, she is passionate about serving in rural communities. She stated that she enjoys “The stories and the appreciation of the patients to have you around in rural areas.”
